Went for the international students orientation programme today!
Had a boring 1-hour talk first, then went for lunch. Walked all the way to brunswick square but ended up eating sandwich from Waitrose cos Nando’s was crowded and expensive haha. Then went back to UCL, for a campus tour - which was rather useless, except for the fact that I realized that the Math Department is in the UCLU building! Finally knew where my main dept is. Went for this welcome reception - which was at Gordon Square Gardens. Rather useless too, just stood around talking to singaporeans and met some people from hong kong, china and thailand. Went to visit international hall with eddison, jason and james after that. Got to see the eating area and the rooms. The room is nice! not super big but enough la. Couldn’t take pictures la cos that’ll be really weird right. taking photos of guys’ rooms. haha. yes and then i tubed home. superr tired and still irritated with the lack of personal space and endless nagging :/ i don’t know if its good for me, but right now its just rather frustrating.
